The World’s Best Whisky for 2016 is Canadian!

Mr. Jim Murray of Whisky Bible fame has chosen a Canadian Whisky to be the World’s Best Whisky for 2016. Canadians are very proud of this. The whisky is Crown Royal Northern Harvest Rye. The news broke on Thursday – Friday. Mr. Murray was interviewed on national radio Friday night. I bought two bottles Saturday morning. Now it is impossible to find a bottle for sale. Isn’t it great that the world’s best whisky retails for $30.60 a 750 ml bottle? I do hope that there is plenty to go around. Read Jim Murray’s tasting notes and you’ll no doubt be enchanted. It’s like reading poetry eh?
